Membership required
In order to receive referral bonuses from the Homeowners Cooperative (HC) referral program, a participant must be a homeowner member of HC . To refer a new homeowner, give them the last 4 digits of your membership number. Make sure to let them know they need to use your 4-digit number, because this is how we track referrals to make sure you get proper credit.
Let the bonuses roll in
For each referral that results in a new annual Green Hammer membership, the HC member (“Referrer”) will receive $25, paid by the end of the following month.
For example: If a Referrer signs up 10 new Green Hammer members in a month, the Referrer would receive $250 for that month. Sign up 100, get $2,500.
It gets better
$5 per renewal
Each year the Referrer’s new member renews their Green Hammer membership, the Referrer will receive a $5 bonus, as long as the Referrer maintains membership in HC. Renewal bonuses will be paid quarterly upon verification of renewal.
For example: If all 10 "new" members renew the following year, and the Referrer continues to maintain HC membership, the Referrer would receive $50.
As long as the Referrer maintains their membership, the $5 bonus per Green Hammer renewal will be paid every year the Referrer's "new" members continue to renew their membership. (Payments will stop if a "new" member doesn't renew or if they skip a year of membership.)
Big opportunity for big bucks
An HC member can make an unlimited number of referrals. (Sign up 100 new Green Hammer members and you will receive $2,500. Sign up 1,000 new members, receive $25,000, and so on.)
Please note: We highly recommend you keep a record of the people you personally referred and signed up. HC tracks all referrals, but there is always the possibility that a referral incorrectly imput their information or forgot to fill out the "referred by" section. If you have any questions, concerns, or require a reconciliation of referrals, please contact us.
If a Referrer signs up enough new members to receive bonuses totalling over $600 in a year, HC will send them a 1099 tax form.
A W-9 tax information form must be completed and returned to HC if you exceed $600 a year in sales.
Referral Bonuses are not valid if memberships are purchased through a discount program. To receive the $25 Referral Bonus, a new member must pay the $95 membership fee.
